Panasonic Massage Chair Review: EP30006 Real Pro Ultra

The Panasonic Massage Chair Real Pro Elite EP-3513K was as the name already suggest a more upscale or luxury product. It has been replaced with EP30006 Real Pro Ultra, which has over 1100 massage techniques available.

It is a full body massage chair, which means that not just the back, but also the arms and legs can receive a massage at the same time.

Even though this Panasonic Massage Chair is sold as a Shiatsu massage chair, there are different programs to choose from like Shiatsu, Deep Swedish, Stretching etc..

You can select each of these programs at different intensity levels, plus you can select the areas you would like to have massaged.

Compared to the previous model it adds the so-called Junetsu technique, which is the Panasonic exlusive ultra fine kneading.

I really like the voice guided remote to make adjustments, in that way you can leave your arms on the massage chair for uninterrupted enjoyment.

It is entirely made in Japan and comes either in black or brown ultra soft synthetic leather.

Ijoy massage chair 100

The Ijoy massage chair has gotten a lot of attention over the last few years. I think it is mainly because of it's slick and modern design and also because it is a lot smaller than some of the rival products. The Ijoy is a back massage chair.

The Ijoy massage chair 100 is a polyester chair, while the 130 model is made of microsuede. The 130 is also 30% bigger, therefore made for people with a larger frame.

The chair offers massage for the lower, upper and full back.

You will see in this video that even a person with over 200 lbs fits perfectly on this chair.

The only downside that I felt from trying it was that the chair is pretty low and it was not super comfortable for my legs. But I'm 6 foot tall, so that should not be an issue for people who are shorter(the user sits only 13" from the floor in a modest sized seat).

What is the best massage chair? Well I would like to direct you to the perfect product, but that is not that easy.

First of all it is all dependent what you expect from your massage chair. Relaxation, Energy boost, special massage techniques - like a Back Massage Chair. I will be very straight forward here: A massage chair can never replace a massage therapist. I might feel good and it is better than having no massage at all, but the most important thing about massage is diagnostics and the chair will just not be able determine what you need.
It will basically do to you what it would do to me.
Having said that, many massage chairs have programmable features and selections that let you decide what style and which part to massage. This is a great feature, because you are the person who knows best where you feel tight or tired, so your massage chair should definitely make it possible for you to control style and area of massage. This will be the best massage chair for you.
